Brown Girl Woke is a feminist Pacific Islander women and girl led organization with chapters all over the globe

California chapter in the wake of the Trump administration, there has been an increase in deportations of Samoan and Tongan families in Sacramento, Modesto, and the greater Bay Area. In response, Brown Girl Woke will be training their youth to lead intergenerational KNOW YOUR RIGHTS workshops with community adults and elders around immigration and deportation
